Chocolate PB Protein Shake
This is kind of killing 2 birds with one stone. People are always looking for sweet treats, AND often have a hard time hitting protein targets. So why not combine these into one lil treat? Welcome the CHOCOLATE BANANA PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN SHAKE. YEAH. It sounds good…and tastes even better. And packs 35g of protein, and will keep you full for a while! This is a great afternoon snack that will keep you full until dinnertime! Say goodbye to afternoon snack cravings, say goodbye to low protein snacks, say goodbye to saying NO to treats. Say HELLO to the best damn protein milkshake you’ll ever have.
Ingredients:
41g Chocolate protein powder (I use Legion Athletics Dutch Chocolate plant based protein - different brands will have different protein amounts, but I would aim to get around 25-30g of protein - so use the serving that will give you that!)
150ml Vanilla Almond milk
35g banana
13g PB2 (original flavor)
2T Fat Free Whipped Cream
19g Chocolate Syrup (Hershey’s simply 5 chocolate syrup)
Instructions:
Add milk to your blender, then add protein - and blend or shake it up to mix the protein up first.
Add banana, PB powder some ice and about 1/2c water and blend.
Add more ice or water to reach desired consistency.
Pour into a cup, top with whipped cream, and drizzle chocolate on top.
If you want to reduce carbs, you can eliminate the banana and make it just a chocolate PB smoothie.
