Pineapple spinach banana protein smoothie

Summer months and warm weather mean delicious fruit filled smoothies. So mid-October, I am clinging on to these days. The mornings are in the 50s, afternoons still creep up to 80…but it’s only a matter of time before the warm weather is gone. And that is okay! I’m a cool weather girl. I look forward to the winter months. But during those months, I also usually say goodbye to these smoothies in exchange for cozy warm soups and chili and protein hot cocoa. So here is to the last of the fruit smoothies of the season. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1c (75g) frozen pineapple

  • 1/2c (75g) banana

  • 1c baby spinach (one big handful)(25g)

  • 1/3c (75g) greek yogurt

  • 1 scoop (35g)Legion plant+ vanilla protein powder

  • 1T (13g) chia seeds

  • Water just enough to mix up the protein…then more to get the consistency you want.

  • Ice

Instructions:

  • Not sure if we need a full step by step here…but I do usually mix the water and protein first so it’s blended a bit…then add in the rest and blend up (I use my ninja). You can always add more water when you blend it to hit the consistency you want.

  • THAT’S IT FRIENDS!!!
